Welcome to Space16,

My name is Sam and I started my studio career back in 1999 working in studios around the East, South East and London.

Over the last 23 years I have engineered, mixed, mastered and remixed countless artists and bands, for such labels as Island, Virgin, Armada, FSOE, Decca Records, Universal and for such artists as Steel Banglez, Mo Stack, AJ Tracey, Not3s, KDA, Calvin Harris, Roisin Murphy, Mel Blatt (All Saints), Scissor Sisters, Mel C, Boy George, Lana Del Ray.

About 11 years ago decided to focus solely on mastering as I was being asked more and more to work on different projects. As well as having my own studio I am also the Mastering engineer at Tape London Studios (Click Here to check us out) Where I have had the pleasure to work with many wonderful artists over the last 7 years on both recording and mastering projects.

As well being a studio owl, I also do a lot of audio and production design and consultancy work for TV, Events, Music Videos, Clubs and Festivals and have worked for the likes of MTV, Channel 4, Sky, 24/7, Carl Cox, OVO, Future, Elrow.

I was also a full time DJ back in the 00’s with residencies and gigs at Heaven London (5 Years Saturday Main Room),  Ministry Of Sound, Fabric, Turnmills, Wildchild London, Studio 33, Area (London), Colosseum (London), Fire (London) , Disco Vietnam (10 Years), Yard Bar London (8 Years), Sids Bar, Revenge Brighton, Volks Brighton, Gaydar Radio Tour, Ghetto London, Powder Monkey (Sundays 12pm – 3am 15 Hours every week for 3 years) as well as having the pleasure to travel to Ibiza, Vietnam, Europe, Thailand, Australia and the USA for gigs and production work. My style ranged from soulful deep house through to funky, tribal, tech, techno, trance and hard house.
